This heartfelt story had me on the edge of my seat, I found myself totally involved in the outcome. Touted as a "journey to love", it could also be termed a story of forgiveness and redemption, with a good measure of suspense and action thrown in. I'm a 1st year med student and have used this book a lot this year. This book has some unusual characters representing several cultures and social milieu. Nearly as interesting are his interactions with persons of importance, such the VADM David Beatty and First Lord Winston Churchill (the author was a very well connected reserve lieutenant). In addition, she also tackles the issue of dealing with a death in the family. By listening carefully and knowing just the right thing to say, she quickly learns that the girl’s unruly behavior is due to her struggles with reading. If you spend little time on the goals and you read it in a week, you will get almost nothing out of this book. I greatly enjoyed this book, the climax for the series so far.
